The Humane Society’s 22nd annual Paws & Sneakers 5k run/walk along the Platte River to Riverside Park that will kick-off EvansFest festivities. The event includes: a 1 mile walk, on-site micro-chipping for your pet, a pet talent show, and vendor showcases. Dogs are encouraged to walk/run along with you. If you don’t have your own dog, you can “rent” one from the Humane Society. You may register individually or as a team at: http://www.weldcountyhumane.org/paws-sneakers.aspx! Pre-registration is $20, event day registration is $25. Registration starts at 7:30 am.
